Payments may be made at the port office by cashier’s check, money order, American Express, MasterCard or Visa debit or credit card. Cash, personal or company checks are NOT accepted at either location.

Conditional Charges: Charges are assessed only when these conditions exist. All fees are due without prior notice and payment is required prior to vehicle release.

USDA Debris Removal: Any vehicle determined by US Department of Agriculture inspection to require debris removal to remove foreign soil will be charged $90.00 (Charge includes wash and admin fee.)

Storage at Port

  • All vehicles are allowed 7 free days at the destination port. Free days include holidays and weekend.
  • Free time starts at 0800 the morning after complete discharge of the vessel.
  • Upon expiration of free time please see below for demurrage rates
  • Storage charges must be paid prior to the release of the vehicle. We accept Visa, MasterCard,American Express, Cashier Checks or Money Orders.

TWIC Escort (JAXPORT Only): TWIC credentials are required for all public access to the Port of Jacksonville facilities. These charges ($75 per hour and up) are assessed by JAXPORT directly.

Third Party Vehicle Release: You may make arrangements to contract an approved third party company to deliver or retrieve your vehicle from the terminal on your behalf. All fees charged by the party you have contracted to provide this service are payable directly to the contracted party.

Extra Cargo: Trailer Bridge will accept additional cargo other than non-emergency/safety equipment only if fully disclosed and properly documented on the Bill of Lading as “SHIPPER’S LOAD & COUNT” prior to delivering unit to origin port, loaded in the bed of pickup truck, cargo van and/ or trailer. The additional cargo will move at the Shipper/Owner’s own risk for loss or damage of the goods. Extra Cargo will not be allowed on Sedan & SUV vehicles, except for emergency/safety equipment.

Goods Loaded in the bed of pickup truck, cargo van and/ or trailer will have an extra cargo fee of $300.00 per POV or $300 per 900 cubic feet for NITs/SOLs

Goods Loaded in POV: $300 per Loaded POV.

Vehicle Insurance: For vehicles in excess of 5 years, vehicle insurance is available for purchase. Rate is $1.12 per $100.00 of sound market value. Insurance must be paid prior to unit arrival at departing port.

Additional Vehicle Insurance: For vehicles less than 5 years old, additional vehicle insurance is available for purchase exceeding provided insurance coverage amounts. Rate is $1.12 per $100 of sound market value. Insurance must be paid for prior to unit arrival at departing port.

Please note above rates are subject to change. Applicable published rate according to the Date of Vessel Sailing will apply.
