In a recent article, the Port of Jacksonville had a 25 percent increase of TEUs compared with the same month a year ago, according to the latest data from the Jacksonville Port Authority (JaxPort). The increase was due to a 35 percent boost in volumes of containerized cargo to an exponential increase in shipments to and from Puerto Rico, which is still recuperating from Hurricane Maria.
