Meet Trailer Bridge’s 2024 President’s Award Honorees

Trailer Bridge is proud to announce this year’s President’s Award Recipients:

• Lynette Delgado, National Sales Account Executive – Caribbean
• Jake Willis, Operations Manager – Kansas
• Jasmine James, Talent Acquisition Specialist

The President’s Award, presented annually by CEO Mitch Luciano, honors three individuals who embody the company’s culture of love and kindness in every interaction from customers to colleagues.

Since establishing the tradition in 2015, Mitch has personally selected the winners based on his interactions with them throughout the year and recommendations from others. The characteristics required of those considered for the honor can be summed up in 3 words: honesty, integrity, and respect.

The qualifications for this honor, the highest within the company, reflect the organization’s culture and belief that the people of Trailer Bridge are the most impactful factor in the company’s future growth. Fostering an environment that champions these qualities within the team is something supported by the company’s entire leadership team.

Lynette Delgado – Puerto Rico Division

Lynette joined Trailer Bridge in 2018 bringing her deep understanding of the transportation and logistics industry to the Caribbean sales team. Not only did she have the industry experience necessary for the role, but more importantly she had what many within the company describe as the ‘It Factor’ – kindness, passion for people and a drive to succeed that can’t be taught.

“From her first LinkedIn message she sent me to the first time I met her in person, I knew she had what it would take to be successful at Trailer Bridge. She lives every day representing what the President’s Award stands for and I am extremely thankful she is part of the TB family,” Mitch said.

What does receiving the President’s Award mean to you?

“Receiving this award is a privilege and an honor I don’t take for granted. It means validation and a testament to our personal and professional character. It’s also an additional energy boost to keep growing and expanding, by offering the best personalized service in the industry!

Jake Willis – Logistics Division

As the Kansas Branch Operations Manager, Jake spends his day serving his team members, customers and carrier partners. He joined the company in 2022 as one of the founding members of the company’s newest logistics branch. He wears many hats but is known for leading with love and kindness, and with that has supported the branch’s success.

“The day I met Jake I knew he had something special about him.He lives his life to serve others and through that his big heart and love is felt by all.The premise of the President’s award is Honesty, Integrity, and Respect, and he embodies that more than anyone can imagine,” said Mitch.

What does receiving the President’s Award mean to you?

“Being selected for Trailer Bridge’s President’s Award is an incredible honor. It reaffirms that living authentically and treating others with fairness can have a positive impact on those you work with daily. It also fuels my passion to keep putting in the hard work and dedication to TB.”

Jasmine James – Ocean Division

Jasmine joined Trailer Bridge in 2022 supporting the company’s growth strategy by sourcing the nation’s top talent to join the team. Her dedication to leading with honesty and integrity has been felt by each of her candidates and those hiring managers she works with.

“As the main recruiter for TB she sets the foundation of who becomes part of the team, and it is that foundation that creates who we are and will be for years to come. I always hear how much people love the process of being hired and working with her, and it fills my heart that she got this award,” said Mitch.

What does receiving the President’s Award mean to you?

“I am deeply humbled to have received the President’s Award, and I couldn’t be more proud of the journey that led me here. It serves as a powerful reminder that with determination, focus, and a positive mindset, anything is possible, and I hope that this encourages others to keep striving for excellence.”
